From this grape variety of French origin (which derives from the budding mutation of Pinot noir of which it retains all the characteristics except the colour) we have obtained a fine wine, with great alcoholic power and a characteristic coppery colour. The bouquet is elegant, with floral notes of hawthorn and acacia. Sipping, retronasal aromas of almond and hazelnut prevail; savory, warm and with good aromatic persistence.
Pairings: we recommend it in combination with savory fish dishes such as sautéed mussels and clams in red, stewed cod, spaghetti “alla busera” and baked and grilled fish dishes.
