northeastern Italy. These villas bear witness to the willingness of the Venetian aristocracy of the time to invest in agriculture by creating villas characterized by architecture based on linear forms, a building It is not simply flowing water but a historical and fluid testimony to the Great War. From June 15 to 17, 1918, the story goes that a group of 300 soldiers resisted the Austro-Hungarian advance led by Major Francesco Mignone, a valiant man who is still remembered today and he was shot dead during the fighting.<br \/>\nErnest Hemingway, one of the world&#8217;s best-known Nobel laureates and then enlisted in the American Red Cross, was also wounded in these very
